Jim Brown, Property Manager-in-Charge and his wife, Margot, began vacationing in Hilton Head Island in 1994. After purchasing a rental home in 1996 they found that management from the larger rental companies felt impersonal. After moving permanently to the island in 2004, they began a small short term rental business with a strong focus on customer service. They personally greet every renter and are on call 24 hours a day to meet the needs of every guest. Margot and Jim have been married for over 30 years and have three daughters.

Coastal Vacation Rentals will partner with you to take an accurate and detailed inventory of your property (furnishings, artwork, dishes, cookware, flatware, linens etc.). This inventory checklist will be utilized to verify that all of your belongings remain in your property and remain uncompromised. An itemized inventory is crucial to ensure you are properly compensated for any missing items or damage incurred to the property. Please be advised that normal wear and tear is, of course, expected in a vacation rental property. We strongly recommend that all personal keepsakes and valuables be removed or stored in your locked Owners’ closet prior to guest occupancy.

The primary reason our business model is a success and will produce repeat vacationers is because our homes are consistent. We will only represent homes that offer the amenities we know so many travelers to the Island want. This consistency will produce “regulars” who always come to our site to book because they know that they will have a lovely time at ANY of our homes. They have the comfort of knowing the décor, amenities and little extras will be in whatever home they choose from the Beach House Boutique. That is why we have set some standards that require you, the homeowner, to agree to.

Licensed since 1983, Cele brings over three decades of active property management experience to Trident. She can be seen most Saturdays during the summer personally checking properties and greeting arriving guests.

Sole Owner and Broker-in-Charge, Stephanie Hoke, began Beachside Hilton Head Island in 2008 after working for another local mid-sized property-management company.
